Dr. Stalzer received her Bachelor's Degree with Distinction in Neurobiology from Cornell University, located in Ithaca, New York, in 1980.  After graduation she was admitted to and attended Cornell University Medical College in New York City and received her medical degree in 1984. Upon graduating from medical school, she and her husband (an internist) moved to Orange County, California where she completed her residency in Psychiatry at the University of California Medical Center in Irvine.  She became the Chief Resident in that program in her last year of training.  She has been Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 1991.  Dr. Stalzer has over 25 years of experience in treating adults, adolescents and couples suffering from a variety of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, marital problems, psychological trauma.
